Terms of Service?
We endeavour to provide our clients & customers with exceptional service. This service is governed by these terms & conditions & in unusual circumstances or events, we reserve the right to withdraw these services. Where deposits have been paid or goods paid for, we will refund you in full if we cancel the transaction.
Design Rights?
All designs are subject to copyright & remain the property of Stornish. The use of our designs, their images and our promotional material will be treated as theft unless written consent has been given. More information on design rights can be found here
Methods of Payment?
We accept payments by credit, debit cards & electronic online payments via PayPal & ApplePay. You can pay with your credit card through the PayPal site whether or not you have an account. No Cheque payments are accepted. Goods are not dispatched until payments are fully transferred. Items paid by PayPal will not be shipped until PayPal clears funds – this can take up to 5 days.
Delivery times?
All items dispatched via courier (larger objects subject to special arrangements). When we have an item in stock we aim to dispatch your order within 3 business days of order. If a product is not a stock item, it will be ‘Made to Order’. Made to order items can take 2-4 weeks. Large furniture can take 6-8 weeks. You will receive a confirmation email of dispatch. If unforeseen circumstances affect or delay your delivery – we will email.
Deposits ?
Return/Refund Policy?
If items arrive damaged in transit or faulty we offer a full refund including P&P. Or we will replace the item. Your preference. No quibbles. We will arrange collection and liaise on timings with you. We ask you to abide by these guidelines:
- We ask that you contact us immediately if you receive an item or items damaged in transit.
- Send us images of the damage/faults.
- That you keep & use the original packaging to return the item*.
- That you do not use the product.
We understand that sometimes purchases ‘bought without seeing’ don’t quite meet expectations or that you simply change your mind. We ask you to abide by these guidelines:
- We ask that you contact us within 14 days if you change your mind.
- That you keep & use the original packaging to return the item*.
- That you do not use the product.
In this event, we will issue you with a full refund for the item but we will ask you to pay for postage to return the item. We do not issue refunds for items that are made bespoke for you.
*You don’t have to return the item in its original packaging, but you do need to make sure it’s packaged in a way that means it doesn’t get damaged. We will ask you to pay if something gets damaged because it wasn’t packaged properly.
*Marketing?
We will take great care to preserve the privacy of clients but we reserve the right to use images of our work in private & public spaces for marketing purposes. Your data is private. We will not knowingly pass it on to anyone without your consent and we will not contact you with promotional material unless you’ve asked for it.
Promotions?
Initial discounts are limited to the first order. Discounts offered with sign up promotions cannot be used for large furniture orders or for bespoke orders.
Ship overseas?
We are U.K based and currently we only ship to customers in the U.K We will ship to areas outside of the U.K in the future. P&P is applied to each product as appropriate. Packages can be insured, tracked & shipped at additional cost by prior arrangement.
Security?
This store uses an automated Woo Commerce platform for payments, and third party payment systems automatically encrypt your confidential information in transit from your computer to ours using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL).
Cookies?
This website uses cookies to improve your experience. We’ll assume you’re ok with this, but you can opt-out if you wish by deleting cookies within your browser. The cookies we use are for Google Analytics and third-party cookies from Facebook and Twitter (if you like or tweet about this site).
Warranties ?
All products come with a 1 year guarantee. If the product fails within a period of 1 year, we will repair the defective product free of charge. If we cannot repair the product satisfactorily, we will replace new for old or refund the purchase. This does not include accidental damage and normal wear & tear. Large furniture or ‘Heirloom’ designs come with a lifetime guarantee which we say is 10 years. We will endeavour to offer a repair service for as long as we remain trading as a manufacturing company. We offer these guarantees on the understanding that the product has been appropriately maintained and no guarantees are applicable to items or services supplied free of charge or supplied as promotional agreements.
Wholesale Enquiries?
All products are exclusive to Stornish. We do not sell our products wholesale. Products are available to hire for photoshoots & film production subject to a deposit & fees.
Disclaimer
While every effort has been made to accurately depict all items available and apply strict quality controls, the product’s status as a ‘craft object’ mean they are sometimes different. These are desirable qualities and evidence of the artisan methods involved. However, if you require perfection and uniformity, our products may not be your thing. Colours may differ in colour from those on your monitor.
